Dr. Dylan Hirsch

Dr .Hirsch knew at a young age that his career would involve animals. Every week he loved watching Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom show with his family. After graduating from Skidmore College, with double Masters in Biology and Chemistry, he left the country to study Veterinary Medicine abroad in the West Indes.  In 2000, Dr. Hirsch finished his final year and preceptorship at the University of Minnesota and he headed home to New York to start his career in Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Hirsch worked for many hospitals gaining valuable experience before becoming the medical director of Animal Emergency Service in Selden. In 2020, Dr. Hirsch purchased Miller Place Animal Hospital. He was no stranger to MPAH, working there for close to 14 years prior to the purchase. His interests are small animal medicine and surgery; as well as exotic medicine. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and scuba diving.
